Husqvarna YTH21K46 blade engage lever disconnected from cable

As the title says the blade engage lever has become disconnected from the plate/cable (not sure how it connects to cable) under the dash area and it just spins freely. Can't find a clear enough (for us non-techs) diagram to see if we can fix this, perhaps it is just a spring that sprung off or a broke cotter pin we can replace or if we should call a tech out. Advice and/or diagram would be appreciated.

One of the springs, either on the cable end or lever end, is wher I'd look next. I have the same exact model, and am interested in what you find out.

EDIT: The cable, part number 152 has a spring on the end; there is a spring on the lever end, number 147 and another, number 42 on the other lever as well. Something is loose there. Those numbers are from my manual, as I have the same exact model, and am interested in what you find out. Sent from my iPad using LMF

Spring is intact. Another person said it sounds like the weld between the lever and the plate broke. Could take to get welded I guess but it's pouring out today and it is 6 years old (although I never repaired anything on 15 year old John Deere I lost in a divorce) so I just ordered a whole new assembly online for $50.
