ZERKS on X500 mower deck

The first post the OP asked if the were press ins if I read it right?? You are right just maybe they aren't. All the better if they are screw in fitting, Problem solved. One thing you wouldn't get me to buy into is the metric fittings is the reason they don't take grease.
 
I have 3 couplers. two that came with the guns and a 4 jaw I bought. I have seen the needle couplers will they work with the ZERKS/fittings?

If you really wnt to know go to the John Deere web site and look at the parts break down for your particular model.
If the grease nipples are not shown as a separate part then they are pressed in.

The couplers come in different styles. Some have a cup shape end and others are more like a needle. Yes the work very well with zerk/grease fittings.
