23 Kawasaki FH680V-CS21 wont restart after running it a while.

Once I get it started it seems to run and mows fine.

I have to crank and crank, then carb sputters or makes a popping sound like its trying to fire, then once it does start it blows white smoke out for just a second or two then seems to run fine until I have to start it again.

I had carb rebuilt and was still doing the same thing. Turns out the starter was dragging and wasn't spinning flywheel fast enough. Replaced starter and she starts right up!
