Hello - new here looking for a muffler

I will pull up a list of mowers with the BBC clutch and a list of BBC models that used the cast muffler, but I will not have time until poss. Monday. Stand by for this info. This may help you find one for parts or the parts either in England or the US or on Ebay. Search Ebay by Lawnboy BBC and something may turn up. All BBC models used the same clutch and the cast BBC muffler will fit all models equipped BBC. Hope this helps you locate the needed parts.

That is the bottom view of the cast muffler for a BBC LB. This muffler will interchange and fit in place of the doughnut shaped steel BBC muffler. The cast muffler is composed of two gaskets,a cover plate, a shield plate, and the body casting, all held together with many bolts.

So you're telling me this is the type of muffler I should be looking for??
 
These are the model I could come up with that have a BBC with a STEEL muffler. 7231,7270,R7270,8240R,8240,8290,6261,8402,7232,R7271,6262,8403,8241,R8241,8155,8156,8157,M21BMRA,M21BMRB,M21BMRC,M21BMRD,680501. The following have BBC with a CAST muffler. The first use I could find was 1990 on model S21BSNA, 1991 on S21BSR, 1992 on680545. This is all of the info. I have as my book only covers up to 1992. There are most likely more newer models with BBC that would have used the CAST aluminum muffler. Hope this will help you locate a muffler. If you go to Lawn Boy's web site and use model #680545 you can get a better idea of what the muffler parts look like.
