Hi everyone,
I've got a 1993(?) 2182 SGT that has a bad hydro unit (reverse slips badly). I was wondering if anyone knew what other Cub Cadet models would have a compatible tranny that I could use as a donor.

You will have to look for a tag that is on the transaxle. The transaxle may be dirty so you will have to clean it up some to find the tag with the numbers. Write down all the numbers and the name that you can find. It would be easier if the transaxle was out of the tractor, that way you can make sure you get all the ID numbers. Its up to you. Once you get the numbers, post them and we can go from there. If you take the transaxle out, take lots of picture so when you install the good transaxle it will go in smooth and easy.
