I am younger and trying to get some yards I need to know the best way to get some? ???:thumbsup:

Put out some flyers out knock on doors. And dress nice.
Make the yards you do look better than the guy next door that does his own.
Have a company name that is easy for them to remember

With your flyers, make THEM, too, nicer than your competitors. If a potential customer gets 2 flyers, they will most likely pick the one that looks the best. Make that yours. Also, I use a yard sign.

exactly what i was going to say, but i have signs at my my house, my grandfathers, 3 of my clients house and at some of my aunt/uncles houses. i use flyers also. i have pictures of my equipment, and a lot of colors.

I started last Summer and the best advertising I did was using Facebook. I started in August and picked up several customers that way.

If you are younger and can't drive around very much then Flyers are probably best. Just expect to spend the whole day handing them out for 1 or 2 clients.

You should be able to get a better response rate than that. It takes me maybe an hour to hand out a little over 100 flyers (houses are close to each other), and I got a good response rate.
