Now I need a Manual, Help?

When I brought home my prize new to me Snapper yesterday, it was so dirty that I didn't think it still had a model number plate on it. Now that I've cleaned it, I can see it somewhat clearly. I took down the model number (21351PD , or the D may be a zero or an O) and have searched around the 'net for a manual. Can't find one! Everyone here has been so helpful, and I hate to be a pest but if anyone can help please chime in. Thanks again...
I did find a site called Manuals Lib, and it has a manual for a Snapper with this model number, but the engine and grass shute both are totally different than their picture?!

PS: Still can't see any instructions on the site as to how to go about dragging photos from my Home on here to a post. It looks so much better cleaned up, I'd love to show everyone.

What I have done in the past, is emailed snapper customer support and given them the mower model number and they emailed me back a PDF version of the manual for my mower. As far as the engine goes, they would put different engines on the same model deck. That could also be a transplant engine.

When you open ...reply to thread, then you go to attachments, then upload files from your computer, then browse (find your pics) then upload, wait till the upload is done then close this window, and there you have it.....simple.

Im typing this on a teeny tracphone. Ill try to. Show you alk the photos in Monday after the
Phone dsl co. Fixes the problem.

Glad u decided to get an older model instead of new. U could spend $1k on a new snapper and it's still not built as well as the old ones. Yes that's a "D" at the end of the model number. "P" denotes self-propelled, "D" is for side-discharge and "S" is electric start. That's a good mower and it should last a long long time, especially with parts readily available and relatively inexpensive.

Thanks, Snapperfreak. Hubby put it down by the road because he thought it wasn't fixable. Bummer, back to square one.

Whaaaaat?! Smack him. Wasn't anything unfixable on that machine. Worst case, re-engine it and go. Oh well. Get another snapper like that. Even the baggers can be switched to a side discharge. And I run my '87 21401P as a light commercial machine. With care, they live a long, long time.

Thanks, Carl. He's not inclined toward engines and I don't know enough, but someone got themselves a sweet little Snapper. I had cleaned her all up and had found a filter. I am disappointed, but he's the hubby.... I'll keep my eyes out for another one. She was a side-discharge, too
