Here are some more pics of homemade lawn striping rollers. I made one somewhat like the second one and I think it would work better if it was held against the ground (by like a pole, not a chain, that can bend). But mine was also lighter, so it didn't really work.

I'll try to find a picture of that Gravely brand "hex striping kit" if I can and post it here.

In my opinion striped lawns always look the best. I like seeing the different patterns that people can create and the different tools they use to achieve it. Brings out the creative side in us gardeners:laughing:

How about some more detail and better photos to share instead of just posting the same link.
Will you design one to fit riding mowers?
Will you design one to fit zero turn mowers?

Interesting for sure but it had been done before .. a lot mostly in the form of a metal pipe filled with pee gravel capped off and zip tied to that flap. Problem is that your method and the pipe method make it difficult to back up not impossible sure but more difficult.

The stripers that are mounted behind the mower present the same problem. The only one I've ever seen worked was one that mounted between the wheels under the trans it was a roller type on a solid axle the problem this one presented was that you could not adjust your rear wheels (all summer my rear wheels not get adjusted)

It didn't say how much it was for sale for?
