Have any of you signed up for the new health care insurance? If so how much does it cost?

I am waiting for it to go away people are realizing that its not free health care. And people don't generally like being forced to spend money.

My opinion as well. However I have not been able to find anybody that can tell me a price. In fact I have not found anybody yet that applied for it.

That's because it's SR22 for health insurance, it forces insurance companies to insure those who they wouldn't before then jack the rates up accordingly. oh and if you cant afford it, you'll get your fine in the mail..

Actually I believe I have seen that there are 'tax credits' to off set the premium cost.
In any case it will not be long now and everyone will actually see the real Facts regarding this new system, Rather than hearing & repeating the politically driven fallacies...
Just like when Social Security was first mandated, there were many claiming it would be the end of the government....
but it still seems to keep rolling along, just the grumbling has gotten easier to hear... :smile:KennyV

It may not be as horrible as conservatives are making out, but, generally, more government is rarely the correct answer for anything. I don't think our Founding Fathers would like the g'mint forcing people to contract with a private company.

The steaming pile that was US health care before the PPACA, is unlikely to be much better WITH the steaming pile that is the ACA, and the steaming pile that is the g'mint shutdown won't be helpful either.

Just what are the Republicans proposing to do? Just returnto the status quo ante?

I don't know how much it cost but as of this morning there have been 8.6 million people visit the website and signed up so I guess it's not as bad as everybody is thinking or saying. The only problem there having is the website can't handle all the traffic so it's taking people a little longer to get signed up.

I am just going to take note of all of the idiots that are holding eveything up, and vote the other way come election time. I think that is the only way to get their attention is the threat of them loosing their seat in office.
