Mower what zero turn should i buy

If you are gonna run it commercial get a Kubota ZD 326. You will pay a little extra but you can get it financed through Kubota for 0 down and 0 interest. It will be running when the rest are in the junkyard I believe. I would not trade mine for anything I have seen and I know of several operators that have lots of hours on them with no problems.

Ok Dude let me ask, What are you going to be mowing? Your own Lawn? or Buying for a Busniess, mowing commercial accounts or Residential accounts. Makes a lot of difference as to what mower you are going to need. If you want to know who makes the best mower on the market? IMO a Toro with a Kawasaki Engine you can't go wrong.

Still say Kubota. There are lawn mowers and then there are Kubotas. Kubota is like a tank.

Kubota is a good mower but Just because it more expensive doesn't make it a better mower, and your right there built like a tank the problem is they also weigh as much as a tank. The normal 60" mower (Toro Z-Master 5000 / 60") is going to tip the scales at around 1200lbs the ZG series Kubota goes around 1700lbs. Kubota is like the JD they make some great farm equipment but there mowers fall way short IMO.

As for zero turns JD and Kubota are not on the same planet in comparison in my opinion.i have dealt with Kubota machines since the 1970's. When I decided to start up my grass cutting business I started looking at the various brands available. I saw the guys that had been doing it for years and years one by one trading off mowers or junking them and replacing them with Kubotas. One in particular who cuts an incredible amount of grass went to ZD 300 series mowers several years ago. He won't discuss using any thing else. I see people often replacing other brands with Kubotas I have seen none replacing Kubotas with other brands.
I have a ZD 326 and a ZG 222 that we run hard. Because most customers we cut for want you to cut their grass only once every two weeks most times it is like we are bush hogging instead of just cutting grass. So far we have had great results with them. At times the conditions ours have operated under have been nothing less than brutal.

I'm with you Ric, for the money I'd buy a Toro Z-Master 2000 or 3000 series commercial(or a Gravely Pro-Turn or Pro-Turn 100XDZ) before I'd spend more on a Kubota. But, don't try arguing with user jekjr, as I have found that he doesn't rate anything else on the market to be equal to a Kubota. They are indeed good machines, but IMHO not the best bang-for-your-buck.
