Blades blades always turn

the blades on my mtd 42 " will not completely disengage. It is a 03 , 17.5 hp 7speed

I fixed it, put a return spring on the pulleys

You will find a blade brake on the underside of the left step.

Do you have a pic of this spring ? I have a 2008 model and can’t get the blades to disengage
