Need a mandatory location of posters, and more than USA. Need the state they are in. This info is needed to properly answer questions they post. Example: What snowblower should I buy? The answer is extremely different for each location. Where a 12hp, self-propelled 36" cut might be recommended for Alaska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Wyoming it would be a foolish waste of $$$ for Maryland and states south.

To the left of each post, you will see the user information (under username) which has location and what kind of mower they have.

I guess I am not understanding this statement...?

Are you saying that a small area trimmer , like a little 36 inch rider, would not be a practical close quarters, clean up mower for those in southern states that have tight spots that a large mower would not fit??? KennyV

I am talking about snowblowers. In states that get little snow, you don't buy a $4000 15hp,48" snowblower to snowblow a total of 12" snow per year, where you might consider that in states that get snows of 2ft or more per storm.

Your right ... aaaaagh give at least a state if not more specific an area...

I do also like seeing folks from other parts of the world AND I do appreciate that there are a LOT of folks out there that use English ... if not their primary language, they do a very good job communicating to folks like me that have very limited other language skills...
I do hope more will edit their info to include location... :smile:KennyV

Yes, I have noticed that myself...I have tried to provide a very good geographic location of where I reside, just so others know what the general climate I experience is...among other reasons.
