B&S 11 HP Throttle on engine broke, changed...........

B&S 11 HP Throttle broke, changed...........

I changed the control with one from Ebay. The old one had a GREEN slide (see pic 1)
and the newer one has Black (see pic 2).
The newer one will not go all the way up for the Black slide has extra plastic on it. This makes it so the choke
doesn't engage.
Any ideas? Is the color a key?

Can you just dremmel out the extra plastic? Looks like it's blocking the slot in front.

It is blocked,but the old one looks to have that broken as well.
I don't own a Dremmel. Thanks for the reply

part no 491593 is for the Bracket-Control (Remote & manual Choke)

The cable is installed wrong!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't go in the hole shown......
I think it goes in the side. need to check
