Date code on a Briggs.

My engine is a B&S 11 Hp. The numbers are 252707 0668 01 83077571.
Is the 83077571 a correct date code?

May be but does look odd.
83 is year, 07 is month but the day looks wrong.
If it was 7th day it normally has a zero in front with the production line at the end.

I will have to re-check.
I don't know how you guy's can fix these things with sooooooooooooo many small differences.
I'm trying to find a throttle control plate that is correct! (SEE MY OTHER POST)
I found one on EBAY for a 252707, but it is not correct. (NO plastic)
The Briggs parts manual just adds more confusion!
