New to the forum! Looks like a great place to get good information.
We have a JD 650 with a loader, box scraper, and a 60" mower deck.
It has been a very good tractor. We also have a JD GT262 and a Scag Freedom.
We just bought a JD X749 to replace the GT262 and the Scag. The Scag is a great mower
but as we found out it is not so great for mowing on hilly ground and the GT has been a work
horse, but it is 25 plus years old. The X749 with the hydro will be a big change from the GT.

Looking forward to reading more post.

Thanks!

Hello Jim C & welcome to the Forum..
That 650 was and still is a very popular compact tractor very nice...
The X749 IS an Incredible machine, all wheel Drive & Steering plus all the rest that makes it a $20k bargain...
You have great taste in equipment, looking forward to see how you are using them... :smile:KennyV

GREETINGS to all John Deere mower owners!

If you're new to the forum, please reply to this thread and introduce yourself and your mower (that is, if your mower have a name ). maybe attach a photo or two of your mower and show off your pride and joy.

Also, if you haven't done so already you can upload a user avatar (picture under your user name). You can do so by clicking on settings and "edit avatar" or just click here.

Please be helpful and friendly to all other John Deere owners (how could you not, right?) and if you like this forum, tell your friends about it.

We want to make this the best resource for John Deere mower owners, and to do that we need your help! Questions? Experiences? Stories? Data? Photos? Articles? Links? Cool John Deere stuff? Post it here!

Last but not least, please let me know if you have any suggestions for the site. We'd love to hear them.

Hi Mohamad
What about a library for all JD workshop manuals available for the JD owners. I purchased my own but it would be handy when we provide help or if the owner needs info. This means you go into a site type the model number in and "wala" you got info you need .
This is just a thought.

Regards
PJ

I just bought a property with about 1.5 acres. I bought a John Deere LA165 mower to keep up with the mowing.
