Hello my name is Gary ,i came across your site while trying to find out an answer about a spark plug ?. I have run a mobile lawnmower service and repair business for nearly 20 years in Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds . A good amount of my jobs are John Deeres mtd lawnflites etc ,with English and European mowers Mainly . I am not sure how many english built mowers there are in the us but if anyone has a problem i could know the answer .thanks .Gary

Welcome to LMF! Hope you are able to learn something useful and teach something as well. I'm always learning something new on here it seems. Never ran into an "English" mower...yet. Dave

Hello Dave , there is always something new to learn ,English mowers are just the same with Briggs and Honda engines but a lot of people over here love there stripes on lawns , so a roller instead of a rear set of wheels on a rotary mower and of course we still like our cylinder (reel) mowers which always gives a stripe ,Gary

You'd know it when you see it; compared to a US model, English mower handlebars are on the wrong side, and they mow on the left side of the lawn.:tongue:

I wish I had a mower with rollers on the back; it would create such nice stripes and I like lawn striping!

lmf,

C'mon now, I've seen your HRX's "debris guard flap". You do a good job striping "without' a roller:0)
