I'm doing my first transaxle oil change and the book says 20W-50 Motor Oil. But that does not seem right as a site shows 20W-50 HST Transmission Oil.
What options do I have????:confused2:
After talking with the mechanic at the parts store, I understand that hydraulic oil is simply a different grade and that 20w-50 is like hydraulic.

20w50 motor oil is common for many ztr transmissions. Scags, ExMarks and kubota all offer models that take 20w50.
