A friend has a husqvarna zero turn mower for sale...says the belt came off and he put the belt back on and now it won't move or has lost forward or backward drive...i am wondering if it might be something simple and worth risking buying it. he says he bought it new in 2006 and the engine and deck work great...anyone have ideas on what the trouble might be???

Either the belt was not reinstalled correctly or maybe something as simple as the roll lever has been activated.

Before you buy it check the release levers on the back of each trans and make sure when they are pulled to release the transmission that it will roll as if it is in neutral. If they do then the problem probably is simple like belt routing. If not, then there may be an internal transmission issue that could get costly.
