Anyone know where I can get a wiring schematic for the Z915E at a reasonable cost?
Thanks

They are in the technical manual and there is more than one .
As for reasonable cost, the JD technical manuals are dirt cheap for the quality and presentation of the information supplied.
Even cheaper when you look at them as a % of the actual purchase price .
Considering the cost of a technician for a couple of hours to diagnose your mowers problems , the books pay for themselves the very first time they are used.
Unlike other manuals, the JD one will firstly tell you how the wiring works so you know what you are doing.
IT then shows you where every part & connection is on your mower, saving hours looking for where a switch is hidden.
And if that is not enough it will tell you exactly how to test each part and the proper order to test them in to save you wasting hours.
OTOH if there is some one who has paid for a manual and is willing to post the correct one for your mower then they will need the full model & serial numbers in order to post the correct diagram .
I make my living from repairing mowers so the cost of a manual comes off my bottom line but I have no problems with buying a JD tech manual for every model that I service .

If you bought it new from a JD dealer, most will download a copy & print it out for you if asked NICELY for one rather than storming in and demanding one .

Bought used but the first mower similar to it did come from a JD dealer.

Thanks to all, I bought the manual and am on my way to figuring this problem out.

Excellent
In a weeks time you will be here telling others how to fix their mowers and feeling quite pleased with yourself.
The basic wiring on all ZTR's is the same.
However there are enough subtle differences to make things interesting.
JD just love relays, they can not seem to fit enough of them into every mower.
And you never did divulge your problem .

My manual is 5 yrs old but I think the Z915E used the Z915B wiring schematic.
