Z225 JD electrical problem

at wits end engine [18.5 briggs] starts and runs, disengage brake engine dies, have replaced seat switch even though old one tested good brake switch test good, going back now and checking terminal connectors any help would be appreciated

Safety circuits that kill the engine
Brake + either lap bar so you can not drive away with the parking brake on
Brake + seat in case you fall off
Seat + PTO so you cant reach down to unblock the chute & chop your hands off .
And remember the circuits include the wire between the switches
