If I jump start the mower it will start and run. If I let off the brake it dies. without the jump it will not start at all. the battery is good with a full charge. I've test the solinoid and it is good. I have seen other things mention that the "brake saftey switch" is bad or out of adjustment. can anyone tell me where it is located or what my problem can be?

Also look at the switch on the seat

Absolutely! Print out wiring diagram and inspect all switches & relays.

fuse is good, bypassed the seat switch (jumper) looked at wiring diagram and mower and see no switch near the brake pedal.:frown: if i jump it with the car it will start but dies when the brake is released. this has run fine until now. :ashamed:

can you point out where the brake switch should be? I do not see one anywhere. It is a yth2148

The brake switch will be around the brake pedal under the mower
