Yazoo ZRT Transaxle Rebuild

#1

I have an old Yazoo that I'm having some steering issues. My right transaxle is sluggish especially in the forward position. If I put it in reverse and then forward, it works a little better.

QUESTION? How much work is it to rebuild the transaxle?

2. Can I even get parts to rebuild it?

Thanks for any help.

Take a look out there on the 'net and see. I would think that that manufacturer sourced their parts from one of the big names in the business. Or, you can give some of the old-timer owned shops a call and see what they have to offer. How long has it been since a new filter (if any) and new fluid have been in the machine? Fluid level?

New oil and filter every 100 hours. I've owned it about 10 years and have always serviced it at the begining and end of each season. Tried putting Marvel Miracle Oil in it and cut yard twice and it actually seemed to help a little and then new oil and filter again.

Thanks for the info.
