Thought this would be a fun thread. Please post pics of your mower working, from the usual mowing grass to the unusual whatever it may be. Looking forward to seeing the many different tasks we do with our mowers. I will start the ball rolling with one of the uses I have for mine.
The Huskee dragging one of the local fastpitch softball fields I coach at.
The little leaguer was happy to help drag them for me.
When I mow I usually overlap so only the inside of the tire is touching what I just mowed, but I need to do it a little more when collecting a lot of leaves to make sure I get everything, because sometimes the mower deck pushes the leaves away from the blades.
Yes the lawn IS beautiful, but as you can see in the 2nd picture, there are patches of lighter grass that grow faster than the rest, and look kind of weird.
Here is my Craftsman 2-stage snowblower after clearing our driveway of a VERY DEEP 1.5 inches of snow. OK....that's not deep at all! View attachment 10573
We got 3.5 inches of snow so I was busy snowblowing today. Here are some pics.
***This was before all of the snow fell (around 1.5 inches in), so if you think there is not that much snow coming out of the chute, that's why.

This thread was a Working MOWER Showcase, then a Working SNOWBLOWER Showcase, and now a Working LEAF BLOWER Showcase.
We got 1.5 inches of snow today and I used my leaf blower to clear my driveway (not enough to do a customers' driveways, though). It started on the 3rd pull in 16 degree snowy weather!
Here are some pictures.

I actually ended up shoveling someone's property (sidewalk, porch, walkway, car, and driveway). Here is a picture of the sidewalk.
Yep I finally got almost all of the bugs worked out of it. This was a yard right down the road from my house. he told me I could give it a try. The straw was kind of sparse and I had to pull a good distance to get a rake full but it worked great. I baled 4 bales from under two trees.

If I can just figure out why my old Craftsman runs great some times and crappy some times I will be ready to rock and roll.
This morning I put a new air filter in it and changed the oil in it and it was running like a new one. This afternoon before I got through it was not running so good again and I shut it off one time and like to never have got it started back.
Nice job on the rake and thanks for the pics.:thumbsup:

Well I got to snowblow my driveway this morning. We only got like 1.25 inches of snow, but I wanted to use my snowblower. Only the 2nd time this winter!

Argh! I've never thought to do that! Blower is next to tractors in the pole barn. Not for the next snow though. Great idea. Here's a couple of pics of some winter tractor work, both during mild weather and some snow.

A few years ago I was a member of a tractor site that didn't honor Murrays it seemed but they had a category in the brand listing called "Other". So I named my tractor OTHER. In this pic OTHER drew the honors of mowing the very over grown family cemetery. It was tuff for the old 11-36 and there were times I thought I should have taken my shovel along to bury her but OTHER survived and still mows today. OTHER is the one you see on occasion with the back wheels on saw horses and the front on the PU tail gate.
