well turned out pto safty switch was bad.picking up new one tomorrow .also hope that makes it start.held switch in an cranked it. but did not start.was getting fuel an spark.thanks for your help

Seeing you have fuel and spark in the compression chamber, you also need compression and timing. I don't know how you are testing for the fuel and spark but that might also mean something ?
