Winterizing a powerwasher

After studying some complicated and messy procedcures, I made up my own. What do you think? Connect a garden hose to the input and pour a pint or so of properly diluted antifreeze (50%) into the opposite end of the hose. Then the genius part: Screw the open end into the spigot and turn on the water. With the engine turned off, press the wand trigger and wait until the feeble little stream of water turns bright green. Voila! The pump should now be protected against freezing.

Seems a lot simpler to just remove the pump and put it and the pressure hose on a shelf in my heated shop until spring.
