Yth24v48 will not move forward or reverse found a broken belt underneath not the mail drive belt. Best way to remove gas tank under the seat so I can see what is going on
Read Operators Manual before changing drive belt. Remove deck first & so on.

In order to remove the gas tank you need to remove the rear fender pan. As Mark referred to the drive belt is replaced after the mower deck is removed so you can access the transaxle.
Im a little confused. When I look at an operators manual your unit will have 2 belts. A transmission drive belt and a mower drive belt. You state not the main drive belt is broken, which would be the transmission drive belt. Please clarify and post back with the model number under the seat.
