I have an older Scag (STR-20CH) that I absolutley love. The problem is, I now have a pasture that needs dragged occasionally. My question is....will it be hard on the hydros if I drag a 75lb. harrow around the pasture? I have done it a couple of time, very slowly, but I can't afford to replace a hydro if it goes kaput. Thanks in advance.
Generally most all hydro systems are adequate to handle the job of moving the mower and the operator... ONLY ...
They will take some abuse but will build up a lot of heat if you are towing more than it can stand...
You realize your taking a big risk... SO if you have any other choice I'd use something else... $$$ :smile:KennyV
