Whole House Fan

I have never had one myself either but since we are planning to redo the entire HVAC this year I might need to look into this. Seems like a good idea if it works, plus we are going to add in the nice storm/spring doors with screening. We just need to find the right ones that the cats will not destroy.

When using a whole house fan, be sure you open windows to allow adequate air into your house to keep up with the air the fan is removing.. if you don't you will be drawing air in through your flues on things like your water heaters... KennyV

You should definitely look into it Greengrass if you have never had one before. They aren't very expensive and it really does help to keep the house cooler. My wife has been bugging me to install one since we moved in.
