when i was a kid 30 years ago one of the teens in the neighborhood had a kind of lawn mower or tractor of some type that hinged in the middle for steering. it used a steering wheel to turn and had 4 tires of the same size. i dont know if it was 4wd or not but i was wondering if anyone ever saw this kind of machine as i'd like one for skidding the logs around the property.

Bolens had the little Lawn keeper and the some what larger Estate Keeper. Steiner made / makes a 4 wd commercial tractor for their different attachments.

wow that brings back memories of my first job out of high school - old bolens tractors and cub's wisconsin robins motors. never did see an estate keeper. holy crap i'm getting old
