White smoke briggs and stratton motor

I have a craftsman mower with a briggs motor, 093j02-0011-f1, pouring white smoke out of the air filter breather tube. It is difficult to start as well. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Check the oil level and make sure it hasn't been contaminated with either water or gas. Next thought would be blown head gasket
