I have an older model White GT-185 mower that the mower will not stay engaged.The switch that engages the mower deck is on the dash and you have to pull it out and then up to engage the mower. It has been progressively getting worse and now the mower will not engage at all.What can be done to fix it?

The switch is only supposed to be pulled out. You have a bad switch. Replace it. White Outdoor 925-1716 (replaces 725-1716)
PTO Switch.
