Where is the spark arrestor located on a Troy Bilt TB22 weed whacker?

Troy Bilt TB22 weed whacker will start fine and will idle after warming up, but bogs down when given more throttle. I'm assuming a clogged spark arrestor may be the culprit. I don't see it connected to the muffler, but I have yet to completely remove the muffler assembly. Is it located at the muffler inlet hole?

Thanks.

Maybe internal to the muffler and require muffler replacement.

Ugghh. Might be right. I don't see a separate spark arrestor on the parts list.

Remove the muffler, install your ear plugs and start it without the muffler and see how it runs. Revs up then most likely muffler time.

I removed the muffler and cooked it on a burner for a turkey fryer, after first making sure the muffler was made of steel. Seemed to do the trick, although removing the muffler was a little more hassle than it should be.
