can anyone tell me anything about a WheelHorse 750 riding mower with a Kohler engine? I remember my Dad using it some but it has been sitting up in his garage for 20-30 yrs. I got it to start but needs some TLC. Are parts still available? Is it easy to work on? I'm not a mechanic but can follow directions :)
thanks,
bjohn

That has to be a old timer. I would guess made back in the 60s. The engine only had 7 HP but I think they rated HP different back then?? As far as parts go I would think you are going to have a challenge. They don't make the Wheel Horse anymore but maybe Toro would get parts?

Most parts are still available. Post the model numbers for the unit and engine and I will see if I can get you parts and service manuals.

There are several WheelHorse forums - some have great information libraries including manuals. Parts are still available for many older machines are available from Toro but not sure about the 750. Some URL's you might find helpful:

 Is there a I.D. tag on the dash mount or on the left side of the dash mount? If so, I.D. number should start with 1-xxxxx for a GT and a 2-xxxxx for an LT. I researched my WH records and the only 753 shows up (1963) and Toro shows a 7500 mn. Wheelhorse forum.com, very knowledgeable people and should be able to help you out.

I have a B-80 Wheel Horse. I use "You Tube" videos a lot They can be very helpful but use common sense and sort through the chaff. Just type in How to ...... in the search box and start looking.

you might find the manual on line at "freemanualsonline.com". you will need the model number to locate it if they have it. i have located the manuals for most of the yard tractors that i have had to repair at that site. also there is a wheelhorse website. it is "redsquare.com"

if the engine is a kohler engine go to: "www.kohlerengines.com/onlinecatalog/". i went there to find the engine i have(K-181) on my wheel horse 8/4speed. try the "redsquare.com" website, they deal specificailly with the wheel horse brand
