okay so on alot of these threads, somebody asks a question about there mower, and you guys usually say:
"to make this easier on you and us we will need your serial number on the mower"
then the person usually gives you the model number, and then you come back soon and tell them the EXACT type of mower they have.
what website do YOU guys go to get info on those mowers?
It varies depending on the mower. Most of the time we use the manufacturers website, On brands they were are authorized service centers we may use the dealer sites.

Just comes to our experience a lot of the time as to where to look for the info.
It really depends as said which the OEM it is. On some I some equipment especially a couple brands of engines I use EU sites. Especially if I am looking up a Kawasaki engine on JD mower as JD tries to hide the engine info and part numbers. They even have a few Kawasaki parts that are propriety to JD only.
Some of equipment it is just the matter of knowing the right person like the one that I get my Stihl IPLs and service manuals from.
