I own a Craftsman GT5000, LT1000, GT3000, and an LTX1000.

And Craftsman wrenches, garage door openers, etc.

I had a pair of craftsman vise grips until I misplaced them and now it's looking as if I have nothing. Oh well, all VG are good for is to clamp something and I have plenty of clamps.

I have two Irwin vice grips and a Autozone Duralast vise grip.

My pair of Irwin's have "vise grips" stamped to them because they own the Vice Grip trademark.

I have more craftsman mowers then sears does.

Over 100 ratchets. I don't use them I don't like them but my kids can sell them when I die.

I think I could fill a 10x10 shed top to bottom with craftsman tools
Again the kids can sell them.

Thing is I can not pass up a good deal. I buy more shti that I don't need.

The way I look at it when I die my kids can sell it all and have plenty of money.

Most of my hand tools are craftsman. Good quality good warranty. I own a few low end mowers up for sale but I will never use a craftsman gas powered anything ever again. I'll fix em ill sell em but I won't use them.

Good grief, I forgot about my 2 table saws that are approaching my age. One I've owned for nearly 40 years and the second about 10. They were made sometime in the early 1940s and when looking at the pic we see the arbor assembly cost .95 cents.

That assembly consists of a shaft, two sealed bearings and a spacer between the bearings. What do we have today that has that typical configuration? A lawn tractor spindle assembly of coarse.

All i buy these days are westward (lifetime garanteed)wrenches and impact sockets.

So you all think that your stuff was all made by Sears? Craftsman? You actually think that Sears or Craftsman made anything?

What we think is that you have took the wrong meds again.

What was asked was what craftsman things do you have. Not what things made by Sears do you have.

I know it's hard for you to understand but if you do not like a thread just don't participate.

You really do help people on here but then other times you are just trying to get attention.

It was asked what Craftsman branded stuff we own. Everyone knows Sears doesn't actually make the mower Fish.

If I have a wrench or socket that has the Craftsman name on it and it breaks or wears out, I just take it to Sears and they give me a new one, no questions asked. Let me think of the name for that, could it be (Lifetime Guarantee) I think thats the name for it, but the only thing is you have to return the wrench to the store.

Maybe you can start a thread that is not "totally meaningless" and others can get off topic and bash yours if you have nuts. I sure your threads will set new records in forum history! Then you can lord over everyone. I like it when you are nice and try to help people because you know things that others don't. I think theres a nice guy inside of Fish that is trying to get out, but he only gets out just a little and runs back inside so no one can see him. Come on Fish let the nice guy out so more people can meet him and learn from him. Its not fair to not let him share his mind with others.. But thats just me.

Need proof of original ownership( which i don't have anymore) to get replacement tools from Sears, besides there's no sears outlet left in my town and i'll be dammd if i drive 250 ml to the next one for a socket.
Not worth the trouble.

Maybe the fact that the Craftsman name appeared on something did mean something (still does?). The no bull replacement of sockets and such has made me blush when I sometimes returned an abused tool. Never a question. I joined the so called "Craftsman club," but even on sale and with the club most stuff just comes down to normal retail. To have that work the stuff has to be better than the competition, Unfortunately, painting a Chinese jack stand yellow and putting it on sale for $19.99 does not fool most of us who see the same stand at HF for $9.99. Way back someone told me Sears offered their employees one of the finest retirement packages in industry. Don't think that can be true anymore and yet they have a pricing problem IMO. Look what happened to Detroit.

The sears by my house will replace any hand tools without recipt. I simply walk in with broken tool they say go grab another one. And i do.

Bison, That really sucks. Even Harbor Freight will surprise you here. I bought a worthless "650 ft lb" air hammer in CA and swore at it for ten years. Then one day I was in HF here and bitched to the clerk. He said bring it in and gave me $60 credit against an "earthquake" model which actually works. Without the original receipt I walked out for about $10 out of pocket. If Sears is adopting that policy it is surely their death knell.

Same here, and if they don't, just raise a fit. The customer is always right you know

Screw Sears.
We have other stores here like Canadian tire(mastercraft tools) and Peavy mart(some China brand) that are not that fussy and replace tools over the counter without hassle.
My local bumper to bumper also gives life time warranty on the brand tools they sell.

Canadian tire is nothing like Sears,..they are not a mail order business.
They sell mostly crap(their nick name is not for nothing" Crappy Tire ") but they have a good brand of tools and stand behind them.
