The parts don't look like anything that go's on a Troy-Built roto tiller with a Kohler 8 HP Magnum. What ever they are they don't look useable. Just what is apart on the engine and where in the world was it sitting? If you go to the Kohler web sight you will find some very good repair manuals. Kohler isn't afraid to share information.
Yeah, I'm coming to believe that these pieces are not part of the machine either; perhaps just some extraneous junk that got thrown into that box just to screw with my mind. As far as usability goes, I doubt if even a scrap metal dealer would be willing to take them. I am in Kohlers debt as I have been able to obtain a master parts manual for the 301609 series M8 engine. Nowhere in the manual can I find ANYTHING that resembles these parts, which is why I ask you good gentlemen for help. As to where these poor parts were to have come out looking like they had a picnic in Hell, my brother returned them to my ex-wife whose boyfriend stored them in a wet cellar in Amsterdam, NY. From there they went to St Louis Missouri, and into a very wet Garage. They finally made it back to me in Pennsylvania, and hence my "Mission Semi-Impossible". One thing, I AM dogged and don't quit. By God, I'll have that machine up and running again by October.
