I need a flywheel for my LB 5239 serial number 5988717 engine. It has a model 408 engine.

I'm expecting more than seven (7) digits in the serial number. That makes me a little unsure of exactly what mower you have.

In spite of that, I'm 99.99% certain that it is a D-series engine.

I think that all D-series engines have interchangeable flywheels. That gives you a lot of options. But please check this out before buying -- can anyone else help?

The serial number on my mower is 6988717 and the model is 5239. The engine is aD 408. Perhaps this may help in finding the correct flywheel.

The number on the present flywheel is 678355.
