			Hi,
I have an older ECHO SRM 140DA Weed Eater.
I just rebuilt the carb and replaced fuel line and fuel filter.
Exhaust Muffler is clean, however.
After tune up I have to shoot a little mix in carb to start, and the engine runs great, and I can shut it off and it starts back up first pull, but...
If I let it get cold a few hours later it will not start again without mix in the carb again???
Any ideas on this?
Oh yea, the Compression is at 100, seems that should be good?

Make sure your choke is closing fully.

Hi,
Thanks, you might have something there, as I believe it is not!
I'll see if I can fix that.

			Hi,
I tweeked the choke flap and it seems to help.
I don't know what else to do except, buy a ultrasonic cleaner for the carb rebuilds.
That is assuming it is a carb problem.
The carb IS pulling fuel???:confused2:

			Hi,
Thanks MowLife, I just went out and started the weedeater while cold.
Put on the choke pulled, took off the choke pulled and it started right up.
My choke flap was not closing all the way!
Thanks again!
