Weed Eater FB 25 Blower Recoil Touchy

I took the recoil apart and rewwound it. It worked great for 5 minutes and then it sticks again. Loosen the 2 tabs that secure the rope pulley and the recoils back but then the rope sticks after a couple more pulls. Very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?

The rope pulley will warp. the housing will warp binding the pulley, and the plastic nose that the pulley rides on can also warp causing binding.
