Hey everyone, Im still new to this forum thing, but here it goes. I have a 26HP EFI Walker mower, with 3500 hours on it. The problem arises when I turn the key to try to start the engine and I would get nothing. If I hit the instrument panel a few times, then turn the key again, 50% of the time it will start. If it doesn't then it wont start for about 20 minutes. Because of this issue, I figured I would do something that most people would do with this problem...switch out the ignition switch. That seemed to do a whole lot of nothing! I checked the connections on the starter and they are all clean. All the terminals are clean from the battery and the starter. When I exchanged the new ignition switch out, I had also sprayed down all the connections with an electrical cleaning lubricant. I also checked all the fuses and they are good. Im stumped. Is there something else that could be a problem? The mower is a 2003. Let me know what you think. Thanks guys
