Walker forward friction speed control ?

Hello, newbie here. I recently purchased an used 2015 H27i with a 60 inch deck to mow our acreage. Only one of the hydro controls moves forward with the forward drive friction speed control. I have been just pushing the left control forward to match the right when pushing friction speed control forward. I'm sure this isn't normal & am hoping it's just an easy adjustment. Need some advice, thanks.

If you need to ring them do so with the parts manual printed out un front of you so you can use the same names for parts as they do.
