John Deere LA 115 with 42 inch mower deck. I installed new blades and new blade spindles. After re-checking what I did I discovered the idler pulley is loose, the nut is tight though. My question is how much play should be on the pulley?
Your idler pulley bearings are probably worn out, best way to check is remove idlers & check center bearing, should rotate smoothly with no play or drag.
