While mowing, Troybilt 50" ZTR suddenly started making a rough noise and vibration. I've completely removed all blades and still have problem. When turned off and trying to move mower belt by hand, all seems fine and tight.

Is this an engine noise and vibration or only when the blades are engaged?

Check all the spindles, idlers and pulleys you may have a bad bearing.
