I have a John Deere X540 54 " mower. It seems to lose its settings all the time for mower height. Every time I remove it and install it again the settings seem to be all off. I have done all the possible things I can think of and I still have a problem. Like making sure the tires have the right amount of air. Even the Dial setting for mower height does not change so the mover lift should not change. Especially since the mower brackets and bolted on with lock nuts. The last time we mowed which was a couple of days ago, it looked like a small field getting striped for football. That is how uneven the grass looks. Any help would be great.
