For some reason all of a sudden my mower is chewing the teeth off the right spindle and pulley. Just changed the pulley, spindle assembly and spacer yesterday and it did it again today. 6 years not a single problem now this and I am stumped.

Do you have the spacer installed under the pulley? Also, check all your idler pulleys. Make sure they spin freely and quite.
