Turf Tiger power loss

I have about a 10 year old Turf Tiger that I bought new and use only as a homeowner. The deck belt broke a few weeks ago and when I replaced it the engine seemed to be running on one cylinder. It corrected itself after a while but more recent it will run fine for a while then if I turn it off and restart it the engine will be running one one cylinder again. Any suggestions? Thank you.

You don't say what engine you have, but I suspect a faulty ignition module. I have seen Kohler modules sputter around on one cylinder when cold but work fine after warmed up.
