Troy Bilt TB 130 won't start

Hello

My Troy bilt tb 130 push mover wont start. I have taken apart the carb and cleaned it. It was pretty dirty, but I cleaned it well. I also cleaned the fuel tank and filter Cleaned all of the tubes from the tank to the carb. I still couldn't get it to start. I decided to try and squirt a little gas into the carb and it started right up for a second but then would die immediately. Any idea of what else i can do to fix this. Since im currently stuck at home, would like to fix this myself.

just buy a new carb on ebay, they are only $15

if adding gas starts it then your carb is still blocked up

try removing the bowl and test the plunger by turning the key on to see if it works, that may be your problem

but a new plunger solenoid costs $12 and the whole carb including new plunger shut off solenoid cost $15 so, BUY A NEW CARB FOR IT
