Hello, Great forum, I was given a 26" Troy Bilt snowblower and was wondering if there was anyway of finding out the model year and where it was sold originally? The engine is a 10 horse Tecumseh Snow King. The tag on the back of the unit reads-model number 42012- serial number 420120201819. It was my late uncles and my aunt didn't remember where it was purchased.Thanks for any help,Mike

It should be easier to figure out the engine info. Get us the model code and serial off the engine.
Thanks for the reply, When I was getting the info for the model and serial numbers I looked at the engine and could not see anything.Is there a plate or tag somewhere?Maybe a lasered in number? I have no idea where to look on the engine for any model or serial numbers.
