I bought a Troy Bilt leaf blower, I did all the usual things to fix a small engine like air filter and I also bought a brand new carb. However, it smokes a lot but I do not know what the problem might be. Any suggestions?

Most likely too much oil in the fuel mix if it is a 2 cycle version or if 4 cycle version too oil or simply worn out engine.

Smokes from where ?
strong blow out the exhaust or wafting from under the heat guard ?
Does it do it from the start or only after the engine warms up
What colour is the smoke, black, blue, white, yellow with green stripes ?
does it change if you tip the blower fan side down & / or start side down ?
and a model number would help the USA based techs a great deal
There are a lot of blowers with Troy Bilt on the side of them .

The blower smokes a lot from the muffler and every time I press on the throttle, the smoke increases. The color is grayish white, and smokes no matter if it is warmed up or not.

Sounds like your carb may have a loose welch plug. It causes the unit to run, but extremely rich.
