I think my pto on my mower is bad. I tested the resistance & it is .001. I think it's supposed to be 3 or 4 ohms. I also don't get any voltage when I turn the pto switch on at the wire that connects the pto. Before all this I turned the pto on & it didn't take long for the smoke to start rising from the pto it's self. After letting it cool down it wouldn't come back on. Could this have shorted out the switch?
